What a great show! I am writing about it now, as my feet are still sweating from being in the studio. I can hear The Faktory is this hub of an apocalypse we call home.

What great flow! Rhythm & rhyme. Played (just about) every single thing I wanted. I give myself an A.

Ooops! Word's gotten around at the workplace that Charlie is mad at me for not updating our playlists. They are all written on napkins & stuff in my junk drawer. As long as I have them it's out of sight out of mind for me...

My bad.

Whoa! I guess it has serioiusly been a long time on here! At least I didn't make it to a month. Close though!
Also, the internet was down for about 4 weeks of programming, so most of these (up until May 2nd) are not available to download or stream online.

Let's go backwards chronologically.

Lotta folk music. The more I thought about it, the more I started thinking that if folk music is 'for the people', wouldn't punk music have alot in common with it? In fact, you could almost say that any form of music is folk music.

In this episode, I am obsessed with the creative genious of both Ted Leo & Greg MacPherson. They both completely blow me away. Despite that I hate the comparison, they are both highly skilled songwriters, and I finally got to see Greg release his first album in 4 years on April 10th. I also worked merch for him & rocked out 1500$ worth of it! Hell yeah!
And afterwards, I went to the Op Ivy tribute at the Albert.
